Product: Nutriment Creme Headdress
Price: around $ 9 for 4 fl. oz.
Company: Design Essentials

Promises:

Nutriment Rx Hairdress is a rich blend of electronically charged hydrolated vitamins that penetrate deep within the inner hair structure to supplement the medula and cortex. Nutriment Rx strengthens hair weakened by chemical and thermal styling. Nutriment Rx revitalizes dull dry hair by imparting a soft silky sheen. This light formula is excellent for daily use.

Instructions:

Apply a small amount of Nutriment RX to the hands, rub hands together and apply to hair, or directly to the scalp.

Ingredients:

WATER, MINERAL OIL, PETROLATUM, OLETH 10, EMULSIFYING WAX, OLEYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERIN, LANETH 15, STEARIC ACID, LANOLIN OIL, WHEAT GERM OIL, BEHENTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE, DIMETHICONE, SHEA BUTTER, TRIETHANOLAMINE, CARBOMER, FRAGRANCE, DMDM, HYDANTOIN, METHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, IMIDAZOLIDINYL UREA

Consistency/Scent:

The moisturizer is white and has a creamy texture. It does not have a fanstastic scent - it smells a bit like chalk. The scent does not linger in the hair.

Results:

I actually went to the Dominican Salon for some inexpensive pampering. I had my hair washed, deep conditioned and set on large grey rollers. That night, I applied a dab of this moisturizer to my palms, rubbed them together and applied it to my hair. Then, I wrapped my hair and covered with with a satin cap.

Positive:

This moisturizer is super light and silky. It left my hair super soft and with a wonderful sheen. It did not feel weighed down or greasy. My palms had virtually no residue and the moisturizer seemed to get absorbed into the hair effortlessly.

Negative:

Although it is a water based moisturizer, the ingredients are not great. There is mineral oil, parabens, lanolin, etc. so if you are someone who is looking for a moisturizer made with all natural ingredients, this is probably not the best choice for you.

Overall:

For ladies looking for a good staple moisturizer that will leave the hair soft and silky without feeling weighed down, this is a great moisturizer!! It reminds me a lot of my Keracare conditioning creme headdress in texture and scent. So, if you like that moisturizer, you will probably like this one as well.
