Consistency/Scent:
The moisturizer is white and has a creamy texture. It does not have a fanstastic scent - it smells a bit like chalk. The scent does not linger in the hair.
Results:
I actually went to the Dominican Salon for some inexpensive pampering. I had my hair washed, deep conditioned and set on large grey rollers. That night, I applied a dab of this moisturizer to my palms, rubbed them together and applied it to my hair. Then, I wrapped my hair and covered with with a satin cap.Positive:
This moisturizer is super light and silky. It left my hair super soft and with a wonderful sheen. It did not feel weighed down or greasy. My palms had virtually no residue and the moisturizer seemed to get absorbed into the hair effortlessly.
Negative:
Although it is a water based moisturizer, the ingredients are not great. There is mineral oil, parabens, lanolin, etc. so if you are someone who is looking for a moisturizer made with all natural ingredients, this is probably not the best choice for you.
Overall:
For ladies looking for a good staple moisturizer that will leave the hair soft and silky without feeling weighed down, this is a great moisturizer!! It reminds me a lot of my Keracare conditioning creme headdress in texture and scent. So, if you like that moisturizer, you will probably like this one as well.
